Aberrate Inc.

Aberrate Inc. is a 3D, third-person, box and button puzzle-platformer where the fabric of reality bends—and breaks—at your command. Harness the power to aberrate light, splitting objects or your environment into two phases of themselves—red and blue. Split a cube to find two colored instances of itself, each occupying a different slice of reality, reacting only to elements that match its phase. Once you’re happy with their new positions, recombine them to find, at best—a puzzle solved. At worst? Perhaps you find yourself attracting some unwanted attention.

This is the intial prototype made in a game-jam like timeframe with Otheris. This game is being made as our captsone for the Bachelor of Game Design and Development in a team of 4.

We plan to release a vertical slice for this game on itch.io in June 2025, and later a full 1.0 release in November 2025 for itch.io and Steam.
